P3D Franka Beamsplitter: Beginner's question

Good evening.

I bought a Franka Beamsplitter and I am trying to use it with my Canon
EOS100 . I am sorry for the extremely beginner level of my question, but
what kind of lens should I use before a Franka Beamsplitter? I cannot figure
out how to make good stereo pairs with the pair of lens I have.

I suppose the arrangement should be:

                     Lens  <
       | EOS body  |======[
                           <
                          Beamsplitter

Thanks in advance for any info. (I know Franka is probably not the best
around, but I am just trying to learn the techniques with it before trying
to jump in something more expensive)
