I am not familiar with webcams either but I am familiar with the
basic idea of stereoscopic imaging so I know that this will give
you a stereoscopic image... the only question would be how do
you view it....  Recording a stereo image is the easiest thing
in the world (well... almost).  It's when the issue of viewing
comes up that all the complications arise...
