We (the realists) have experience with this
no web cams but guard cams were installated outside a building, a gallery
for modern art in Apeldoorn, the netherlands, 20 cm from each other.
two coax cables go inside the gallery room where two monitors are
installated with the screens towards each other
distance about 100 cm. In the middle, two mirrors connected in a nangle of
90 degrees is placed.
This is a socalled Wheatstone construction. Wheatstone (19 century) made the
first stereoscope using mirrors and no oculairs or other lenses.
When your face is in front of the mirrors, your right eye looks to the right
monitor and your left eye to the left monitor. In this work of art, almost
everybody could watch the outside parkingplace, etc. threedimensional,
including moving people and objects
The realists are operating in the netherlands and other european countries
and we will show you there work on website soon.
