P3D beamspitters and camcorders

Before my camcorder conked out, I used a Pentax beamspitter on it with
OK results. I used a 46-52mm filter adapter and had to adjust the zoom
and pre-focus, then turn off the auto focus as the lens would rotate. I
was able to view the side-by-side images on a 10" TV with a large format
viewer. Biggest problem was that the viewer had to be a few inches from
the TV and would magnified the grain.
