Title: Udo's new website
This is a terrific website. And what a great story! Udo hadn't even known about stereo until little over a year ago. Then he found a book, then he did cha-cha, then he built a twin rig, and other stereo equipment, learned how to mount, then he built a website, in German AND English, good English too (probably good German too, but I'm guessing here. It's a website worth having a look at. Dr. T, you better keep looking over your shoulder, here come Udo.

>>At first, a short description of how I've become a stereo photographer:
1.:
January 1999:
Finding a book with stereocopic images at a photo shop by accident. The book was
"The Stereo Image in Science and Technology" by Dieter Lorenz. I was fascinated
by the threedimensional images in the book. At that time I already knew, it is
not too difficult to make stereo photos by your own.
Looking for information on stereo photography on the internet.
Subscribing to the P3D list.
2.:
February 1999:
Taking my first stereo photos using a single SLR camera (cha-cha method; swing
over tripod head).
Making the acquaintance with a stereo photographer. He lent me several books and
magazines on stereo photography.
3.:
March 1999:
Buying a second SLR camera on the second-hand market. Building a twin rig and
other stereo equipment.
4.:
April - October 1999:
Taking several hundreds of stereo photos using my twin rig.
5.:
November 1999:
Showing my first public 3D slide show within the annual exhibition of the camera
club I'm a member of. (80 glass mounted stereo slides (=160 slides); approx. 17
minutes)
6.:
December 1999 - February 2000:
Writing a website on stereo photography in german and english.
7.:
March 2000:
Announcing my website on the P3D list and waiting on the comments of its members
:-)
Now you need to know the URL of my website. Here you are:
