P3D Re: $100 SI swimsuit issue

Sorry Arthur,

I am laughing, but not all the way to the bank.  It
was just a joke.  I wanted to see what kind of
comments would be generated.  The funniest to me were
the ones of people telling others not buy it from me
because it was cheaper elsewhere.  Only one person
actually wrote to me directly, and he just wanted to
know if it was a joke.
Maybe enough people know my sense of humor on this
list.  If not before, they do now.

By they way, I will have the issues on sale at the NSA
show this year for only $50! ;)

It's been fun watching people chide Lincoln about the
$100.00 Sports
Illustrated Swimsuit edition.  I too thought the idea
of paying that
much
money for a current magazine issue silly, but then he
posted additional
issues and I realized what was up.



The sell3-d list is global, and Sports Illustrated may
not be available
in
other parts of the world.  It's a simple matter of
supply and
demand...if
you can find someone willing to pay $100.00 for a
$5.00 item, you're in
business!  It's creative marketing and although we may
find it silly,
Lincoln's laughing all the way to the bank!
