P3D Canon Rebel

I saw a comment on here about the Canon Rebel X for sale at Wal-Mart
for $200. Yes, thats cheap but what lens comes with the camera? When I
bought my Rebel XSqd back in 1995 the standard lens was/still is, a
35 to 80mm zoom. This lens is not sharp at all. In fact it was the main
reason I peddled the camera. Cheaper to buy another camera with a good
lens than to buy fixed lenses in the EF style. But if you don't mind
parking the zoom that comes with the Rebel and getting a good fixed
focus lens, then the Rebel is a good buy. Mine had a very accurate
and flexible metering system in it. But the zoom I would have to say,
is one rotten lens.
My brother just bought an after-market zoom for his Minolta and its
way superior to the one I had on my Rebel. I think Canon should be
ashamed they put thier name on the 35-80mm zoom.
Have some on this post twinned Rebels?
