I have used flash with my Ricoh XR-10M twin rig and have found perfect synch.
You can easily test for synch by looking through the open backs of the
cameras while firing the flash. With a large aperture you can easily see if
the cameras are synched by the 2 white circles of light. If you do not find
synch you can put the flash on the other camera and check again or you can
switch to a slower shutter speed. based on my own and the few other setups
I have seen, all synched perfectly at a 60th of a second. Without flash I
have always found 100% perfect synch, even with fast moving objects such as
birds, waterfalls, etc. The only "quirck" you need to get used to is that
the cameras "shut off" after about 30 seconds to conserve battery power and
if you don't lightly hit the shutter releases to turn both cameras on before
taking a picture, then one camera will be a fraction of a second behind the
other. This is not always noticeable, except when there is some movement
such as someone walking quickly, etc. Once you get used to this it is
automatic, but a new user will find this annoying at first.
