I made one from scratch using 2 momentary switches and a toggle switch. I was
able to get some of the sockets from an electronics company but Radio Shack sells
adapters that go down to the sub-mini plug size that is used. (adapts
1/8''(3.5mm) stereo mini plug to fit 3/32''(2.5mm) stereo submini jack) Here is
the design I used:

I used two plugs instead of one. I also tried adding a diode to prevent
crosstalk but it didn't seem to make any difference. One interesting note, when
I simply plugged a lead with the 3/32" stereo jack on each end to each Rebel,
they would both go off simultaneously when the shutter release on one was . For
some reason I am not convinced this method would have adequate synch.
