"Xograph" was the trade mark/term used for the first lithographically
reproduced lenticular prints from Visual Panographics (Cowles
Communications/Look Magazine) in the mid-'60's. This outfit later became
Optigraphics. If you can locate any of the Kellog's ball cards from the
'60's-70's, you will find this term on the back of the card.
In scientific equations, the Greek "X" is used to signify "parallax" ( much
as -theta is used to signify "angle") so they coined this term to represent
parallax photography. FYI the pronunciation is " X - ograph"
