Hello, all:
    I have received what I would describe as a temperate, civil, even handed 
response from Ken Tetrington to my admittedly accusatory inquiry, which was 
prompted by Ray's account of his experience.  I have asked Ken for his 
permission to post his response to this group as a whole, and if he grants 
permission, I will do so.  
    In the meantime, on the theory that every story has (at least) two sides, 
may I suggest that we all suspend our recriminatory rhetoric, and take a deep 
breath?
