P3D RBT X-4

Just catching up on my Photo-3D reading and I noticed a comment from Dr.T 
about the RBT X-4. If the problem is that ones' nose is pressed against the 
back of the camera, and you still want to use the stereoscopic viewfinding 
feature, couldn't you simply invert the camera (ala Realist)?
