WOW, please keep us informed, as I'm undergoing the same effort, monitoring
a scanner mail list and two scanner news groups. They're good for helping
with the decision as to which scanner to buy (Most bang for the buck), but
after the decision is made on a couple of different scanners, one then need
to ask the list whether the scanner will accommodate whatever slide(s) you
wish to work with. www.scantips.com is a good scanner info. site to go to
for a lot of how-to information. I have other bookmarked sites for various
scanner reviews and how-to (unorganized) information for anyone interested.
