I bought some film from the USA and always I asked to have it wrapped in
aliminium foil. Some sellers were doubtful abot such a shipment (they feared
custom or security officer's reaction to an X-opaque international air
parcel) but I always got my film without problems nor veiling.
Some airport officers refuse to hand-check luggage (the pretend THEIR Xray
machines are safe) so I started carrying my film in a metal box. I also know
of X-resistent envelopes & bags.
