Sorry, this is not correct. The View-master is set for a delay at the
factory for the flash bulb.
You need to open the bottom of the camera and adjust the flash contacts,
to remove the delay.
This may have already been done to some cameras at some point in the
last 50 years, but if not,  it will not sync to electronic flash.
The camera is checked in an easy manner. Open the back of the camera,
open the lens to the widest setting look through the back of the lens
and trip the shutter and flash, if you see a full circle you are in sync
if you see a crescent you are not. I will post the page from the camera
manual to the VM web site this weekend.

it should sync at all speeds. The speeds are also infinitely veritable
