I'm not Bob, but I just gave up and tried Internet Explorer instead on
the original pnm: files.  It worked just fine, although net congestion
caused a buffering pause of nearly 90 seconds at one point. Chalk up
another one for Microsoft's monopoly, which encourages people to set up
files that can't be read by Netscape.
