I picked up a photon2 White LED personal flashlite.  I
LOVE IT!  I have used it for some 3-D photos that I
did long exposures on.  It worked great.  The lite is
pretty close to daylite color balance and is really
bright.  I can actually see the sillowette of my bones
through my fingers when I put the lite up to the other
side!  It is worth the $20 or so price tag.  You can
get them from www.brightguy.com for a bit cheaper. 
They have many super bright lites that I have ordered
and had great luck with.

The largest Maglite flash lite is rated at 30,000
candle power.  I have a lite that I got from brightguy
that is over 1 MILLION candle power!  I have also used
it in night time shots, and it is great!
