This was already happening a couple of years ago.
I don't know where you were George not to have noticed
it!  (In Greece maybe???).  At any rate, the quality
and quantity of stereo stuff has been drying up for
years -- long before ebay.

That's one reason why the NSA trade fair/covention is
such a great thing.  People save up the stuff they have
accumulated all year and bring it to the show.

I know many dealers that come to NSA who DO NOT sell
on the internet.  Dr. T was one of them until a short
time ago.

I'm sure it will be tough for him to find 35 Realists
to sell on ebay let alone bring to the show.

There is nothing like buying an item in person.  Ebay
has its place but you can't touch the item, examine it
or "haggle" with the dealer in any way.  That's the
joy of finding items out in marketplace.  I have had
over 1,000 listings on ebay (mostly views) many of
which I've sold free of charge on behalf of friends. 
However, I still get excited when the weekend comes and
there is an antique show or flea market in the offing...

We still find 3-D items and we never did find an excess
of any 3-D cameras in our area (all are in Cleveland???).
Of course, I will continue to sell on ebay as well as
bring a nice selection of items to Mesa and, hopefully,
future conventions as well.

I think the main thing is for us all to continue our
avid interest in promoting 3-D and the best way to
do that is through the NSA.  Part of that is supporting
our annual conventions.
