The name 'Busch Verascope' only applied in the US and it was only sold under
the 'Busch Verascope' name after the Stereo Realist had reached the market
and made stereo photography popular in the US. Elsewhere the camera was sold
as the Verascope F40 or as the 'Richard Verascope F40'. The camera was
manufactured by the Jules Richard Company of Paris.

A scanned copy of the original 1940s item from a British photo journal is
included
in the "FILES" section of this mail list at:
http://www.egroups.com/files/photo-3d/
You need to use your password or go to the 'click here' if you can not
recall your password. The item is in the form of a 'pdf' file and is titled
'Verascope F40'. The 1940s extract is at the top of page 2.
