By now, millions have seen the image broadcast yesterday
of the federal agent pointing his rifle at Elian Gonzalez
and/or Dalrymple (the fisherman that saved Elian 5 months
ago).

It was interesting how this picture was being interpreted.
One side said it was proof that the federal agent was 
pointing his rifle at Elian and the other side saying it
was on Dalrymple (or neither?).

Looking at the image, I couldn't help wonder, how easy it
might have been to resolve, if the image was in 3-D! As 
much as some 2-D photographs can invoke very powerful
emotions and and convey great information, it was
interesting to see how limited it was in this case.

In any case, it looked to me, he was pointing it at the
fisherman.
