[photo-3d] Anybody ever used contact slide duplication techniques?

    Since the subject of slide duplication has come up for discussion
    on both of these lists, I thought I'd ask if anybody has had
    any experience doing contact slide duplication, particularly
    using the "Wess Duper":

    The idea of making an exact same size and framed copy of the
    original without intervening optics sounds appealing, but
    I wonder if this technique is really only good enough for
    AV folks doing mostly graphics rather than images.
