This will only be the case if your shutter is a little sluggish.  My 
experience with many cameras is that the  Sunny 16 rule usually leads to 
slight underexposure.  I still swear by the usefullness of the rule.  I just 
bracket to be sure I come away with a good exposure.  Keep strict exposure 
records for a role or two and you will figure out what's best for your camera.
