[photo-3d] more on Dial M

I spoke to Lamar Kennedy, who owns a 35mm print of Dial M (side-by-side
anamorphic) and he provided the following information. There are indeed
3 "flat" aspects of Dial M:

1. The film was shot on a soundstage, and the outdoor backgrounds are
all painted (and flat). However, they're all at infinity, and wouldn't
make much difference.

2. The rear-window effects in the automobile scenes are rear-screen
projections, and are all flat. Again, they're at a distance, so it
doesn't make much difference.

3. There is one short (10 second?) scene, apparently of Ray Milland
alone, that was printed flat - apparently because one of the cameras
went out.

Lamar mentioned that Dial M was shot with an interocular of 2" because
so many of the scenes are close- and medium-range.
