In response to Sergio and any other interested parties, yes I got the
i-art kit. I should have gotten it direct from taiwan for about 15
dollars, but, no, like the impatient stereo-fool that I am,I paid
more to get it faster from their US distributor. The system
requirements listed in their booklet are: Pentium 133 or better, Win
95, 98,NT , hard disc 100 mb +, RAM 64 mb +, printer 300 dpi or
better. So it looks like it'll work. Now, I'll let out the big
secret. I received it in the mail just as I was leaving for a "third
friday" stereo dinner ,so took it along .Tom and Pat Deering were
about to leave for China and had translation software on their i-
book ,so they very kindly wasted a good hour or so deciphering the
characters in front of the number 500 on the package of lenticular
material included,I think "weave" being the best translation .(pitch,
or frequency we later realized) Anyhow what we should have done was
to put the i-art CD-ROM in the laptop and simply read the English PDF
files.500 turns out to mean 50 lenses per inch, they also have 30,
40, and 60.I have only had a chance to try their demo images ,but,as
I said, there is no direct way to interlace 4 images. My guess, like
yours is to input the 4 as a"motion" sequence and then rotate the
thing 90 degrees. Best of lenticular luck, John Billingham

Oh, Didik's e-mail address (from a 1998 Stereo World ad)is
