After years of using my Ricohs simply plugged together, I took the brave (for 
me) step of doing this same operation on Saturday with complete success.  I 
want to thank Ray Moxom and especially Jim Harp for his personal guidance in 
this matter.  I think Jim's idea of using modular telephone wire and jacks is 
brilliant.  The connections snap together and contact is much better than 
mini phone jacks.  The wire is light weight and extensions of many lengths 
are available eveywhere.  Imagine 75 foot sychronized hyper stereos!  I was 
long accustomed to the camera wake up routine and resigned to a few misfires 
on every pair of rolls but those problems are now a thing of the past. Jim 
has also helped Sheldon Aronowitz connect a pair of his Ricoh bodies in this 
manner.

I currently have 4 of these bodies and I'll be on the lookout for more.  I'm 
thinking lifetime supply here!
