Sometimes the Kodaks can have sticky shutters. Usually the "sunny 16" rule works, but if the shutters are sticky you may have to compensate (use faster shutter speeds, or use smaller aperatures). I did a quick search in the archives and here is what I found for the sunny 16 rule (this will save George from some typing):

-8 1 @ f8 Minimum office illum., city streets, stage shows avg.lig.
