There is an interesting article about the April member's meeting
of the American Society of Cinematographers (ASC).
The meeting showcased stereoscopic cinema with an historical
overview encompassing 50 years of 3D production techniques:

The 3D slide show at that meeting is similar to the one that
Ray '3D' Zone will be presenting this Thursday at the May
meeting of the Stereo Club of Southern California. Guests
are always welcome (and encouraged!).

The fun begins at 7:30pm at the usual place, the Wilshire United
Methodist Church, 711 South Plymouth Blvd., at the corner of
Wilshire near Crenshaw, west of downtown Los Angeles. We
will meet as usual downstairs in the Plymouth Hall.
