[photo-3d] VR Caving

Sometimes life just surprises you....
I have just returned from a European Community project review thingy in
Stuttgart.  The review was held at the Visualisation Centre of the
University of Stuttgart, where they develop 3D visualisation systems.
So I had the chance to play (err, sorry, I mean 'work') in a 'Cave' - an
alternating frame stereo system back projected onto four walls of a
cubic room. I'm afraid that the applications were computer generated
rather than photographic which is more the subject of this list, but I
just had to mention it!
