[photo-3d] Photo CD's

Many Ritz Camera stores can scan negs or slides to a high res CD in one
hour. $7.99-$8.99 per roll. Resolution somewhere around 1600 X 1280. ( I
can get exact specs...it may be higher res) The slide carrier requires
MOUNTED slides. I don't believe the fuji scanners used by Ritz can scan
uncut slides as positives. The slide carrier seems to have electrical
contacts that communicate with the scanner, so uncut slide film will be
scanned as a negative film strip. Mounted slides typically cost $14.95
minimum set-up charge, or 75 cents each. Whichever is higher. The
pricing is reasonable.
I've seen 8X10's printed from these CD's and they look excellent!
