John I know you are a member of the CUSP (Close Up Stereo
Photography) Folio that myself and Andrea Blair started so you
have some idea of what we are shooting. I see that you haven't
joined the macro3d list at eGroups (now at 78 members) which
is another good place to see waht is being done in the world
of macro stereo.

As for myself, flowers are no where near the top of my list of
macro subjects. My subjects are as diverse as bugs, small
mammals, reptiles and amphibians, to table top setups of
everything from rocks, minerals, and seashells to glass, metal
and clay sculptures and figurines. If I was to have to
catagorize all my macros and count them up I would say insects
dominate with spiders taking top honors.

The problem you may be encountering is that the subjects
entered in exhibitions and club shows may be leaning heaving
on flowers which many people think do well even if that is not
their top subject in numbers. As for me the subjects I have
enetered in exhibition include several different ice images,
turtle, wasp, crane fly, shrimp, three different flowers, and
squirrel .

That's all for now,
