26 votes - how many subscribers does the list have? :-)

I don't object to people being able to create polls, but I think they
would be more valuable if there's some on-list discussion of the
wording before the polls are created, and if a poll is for list policy
issues, I hope the level of participation in the poll will be taken into
account in any subsequent policy decision making by the moderators.
