Alexander Klein's Realist:  1 lb 12.9 oz
Tom Deering's Realist:      1 lb 13.0 oz
George Themelis's Realist:  1 lb 10.8 oz

My Realist has no strap, lens caps or film.  What parts are removed 
from your metal Realist to make it lighter than a plastic Sputnik?

Perhaps it's the modification that makes it wind faster than a Kodak. :^)
