First, I can't recall anyone saying MF was "better."  Sharper, yes. 
But better? Who's to say what's better?

Quite a few people who shoot MF have pointed out the MF's many 
disadvantages, freely and in detail.  I certainly have.  Whether the 
cons outweigh the pros is a personal choice.  Never have I said 
otherwise.

Further, I can't recall one instance of anyone being urged to 
switched formats.  I commonly tell people to stick with the camera 
and format they enjoy. Never have I said otherwise.

But I must repeat what I said yesterday.  People who shoot other 
formats often get testy when you describe the image quality of MF. 
This is inadvertent and unintentional.  I can't blame someone who 
spent $3000 on an RBT for being a little sensitive to the superior 
results of a $200 camera.

A person could easily choose not to shoot MF for a variety of valid 
reasons.  If cost, ease, flexibility, speed or other issues are 
important, then MF is the wrong choice.
