To Bruce Springsteen:

Hello Bruce,

I'm pleased that you took the "feeler" from me so well. Thanks.
Part of my job with the ISU (since Oct. '99) is keeping an eye on the health
of the journal, Stereoscopy. I read all you had to say. Implementation of
any of the ideas mentioned would be most appreciated.

With respect to the problems existing for a long time where Editors simply
say: "Send me stuff or you'll have to damned well put up with what I use
for fillers from my own files", this shows how difficult it is to get an
Editor who will or can go get articles. Recently I found that by simply
going to
the people who I know have the experience and ability, I got a number of
articles and delivered same to the Editor. I will continue to do this as is
necessary.
However, it will make my job much more successful if those capable, on these
lists, will let me know that they are willing. From there we can easily get
you and your stuff up to publication level and have same stacked in line
with the Editor. Kindly contact me off or on list.

Allan Griffin

you have, thats great news. I believe you were elected by popular
consensus at the time to write on behalf of the Photo-3D e-Group or just
on your own behalf!
