>But things have sure changed. Everything, really. 1) Mac users can
>now use cheap shutter glasses. This is because 2) there's a new kind
>that requires no special video card, no special drivers, no software
>at all. 3) Shutter glasses have come way down in price. $29 will get
you a pair you won't hate.
Hey, I can afford $29. (barely) Can you provide any details about where to
go to pick up a pair at this price? What inexpensive software (PC and Mac
versions if possible) do you suggest for configuring and viewing stereopairs
with these glasses? I've been experimenting with creating stereopairs in
Photoshop but have been frustrated by my inability to view them in 3D at
high resolution until I have them printed. When holding a lorngette up to a
small image on a computer monitor I miss all kinds of flaws and dust that
I'd be able to detect if I could use the full screen to view my work.
>I will set up a demo at the NSA convention in Mesa in a few weeks. I
>will have some shutter glasses for you to try, and I will gather up
>some images, too.
Will you have any for sale there? Looking forward to it! Jim Harp
