I don't know from best. Maybe I should get samples so I could do a
comparison. (Dear company. Send me free stuff for research. Yeah!)

I've got three kinds right now. But there are quite a few types on
the market. I do not claim to be an expert, or even a doctor.

I've got the kind they sell on www.3d.com, which have a wire
attached, for $29. The wire is a minor hassle, but the operation is
solid. They are about the size of regular sunglasses, and without
the wire you might mistake them for RayBans.

I also have the VR Surfer from www.vrex.com. These are huge, but
work okay. They do not have a wire, they operate on infrared. If I
hold my head a certain way, they stop receiving the IR. These are a
couple years old, they make smaller, newer ones now.

I also have a couple wireless units that have "ELSA" printed on
them. I don't know where they came from because 3D.com gave them to
me for a project. They look very cool and are very small and light,
but I've never gotten them to work. :^)

Some of these require software, and therefore will run only on
certain operating systems. The 3d.com glasses require no software,
just a standard VGA port, like 99% of us have. Some work with both
computer video and television-type video. Others are specific.
