[photo-3d] Kiev 35A Twin?

Last night I took my Kiev 35A out of its box in
thought of running a roll of film through it, and I
had an idea. It is very small, has a fairly good lens,
manual apature and focus but auto exposure. The
shutter is electronically fired! The camera is
extremely simple and easy to access the inner works.
It looks like it would be very easy to link two
cameras through one base. I think that the two
camera's shutters could be slaved from the exposure
system of just one of the cameras, thus obtaining good
sync and exposure. Finally, the cameras are easily
obtainable.

Has anyone attempted such a twin??
