Reduced from what? Reduced from the optimum?
Certainly not, because "optimum" is not defined.
Reduced from maximum? The concept of maximum
is arbitrary. Perhaps "less than what is typically
accepted as maximum".
But there are people (like Don) who think that the
maximum is too much. Charles Piper is another.
Anyone who is involved in large screen projection
should also be in this group. In many cases less
than maximum is as effective as maximum or even
possibly better.
