[photo-3d] 3D Mailing lists??? HELP!!!

Dan Shelley has compiled a comprehensive list of discussion forums. One
list is brand new that I established recently and since it has only 4
members I need to explain what it is all about.

This new discussion list was established to "reserve" the name ISU3D on the
eGroup list and probably will not be a very active forum until the fall or
winter of 2000. This is when I take over officially the responsibilities as
country representative from USA to ISU from Horst Hoyer who has been acting
as the USA representative for many years and is stepping down from that
position.

As representative, my duties will be to collect annual dues and keep the US
members' data-base. In addition, I will represent USA members at
International Stereoscopic Union congresses that are held once every two
years. The next congress is in Sydney in 2001.  

This forum can act for input of ideas that USA members would wish me to
convey at the Country Representatives meeting at those congresses.

ISU was founded in 1975 and is the only truly international stereoscopic
organization with 32 countries represented officially and with over 800
individual members and 25 club members. Membership is only $20 annually
which includes a subscription to the excellent quarterly magazine
"Stereoscopy".
