I don't think the sublists is really hurting p3d, I suspect most folks
on the sublists are also on the main lists (or they found them and are
only interested in those areas).  Some of the sublists are so
interest-specific that the post rate is small but it would be even
smaller on the main list.

I would suggest that folks put links to the main list in their
subgroup's links section and encourage members to check it out as well.
