"Lumber Jack-Rabbit" starring Bugs Bunny and Paul Bunyan's Dog was the only
Bugs Bunny cartoon ever made in 3D.

For one week in September, New York 3D enthusiasts will see this short when
they attend a showing of a NEW 35mm print of "House of Wax", starring Vincent
Price. Although an inferior single projector print was made in the 80's, this is the
first new double projector print made of "House of Wax" since the film's release
47 years ago.

Billed as "the first feature produced by a major studio in 3D", I think it would be fair
to say that "House of Wax" is one of the most popular 3D movies of all time.
It scared the heck out of me in 2D as a kid.

Interesting tidbits: This role lauched Vincent Price as a horror star. He played non-horror
roles for 15 years before "House of Wax". The director, Andre de Toth, had only one
eye and could not see the stereo effect. Charles Buchinsky, the mute henchman, later
changed his name to Charles Bronson. And one waxed victim, Carolyn Jones, would
later go on to become Morticia Addams, ten years later.

And remember, you get "Lumber Jack-Rabbit" to boot.
