If one accepts the Franka's increased stereobase of 110mm,
and can accept the concept of using mirror adjustment to change
toe, the Franka (with front-surface mirrors, or course) could
be the ideal stereo device for beamsplitter use--modern
autoexposure {or even autofocus} SLR, adjustable to toe-out
for scenery, normal for group shots, or toe-in for closeups
(accepting that, for showing in a viewer, toe is not that
important--I realize that it might create problems in projection,
even as I consider ways to project beamsplitter slides, which
might not be too difficult if done right--I was _so_ impressed
with Mark Dottle's projection at my school in March).
