I just bought one of these and I haven't had as much success
as I would have liked. It seems to do a pretty good job
with transparencies but so far, negatives leave something to
be desired. Perhaps I am just not up to speed, but it is 
certainly NOT a situation where you put the neg in, hit the
GO button, and presto-chango you have a great scan. Your
negs need to be almost perfectly exposed. Also, the first
unit I bought broke on about the third scan. I called Outpost.com
and they sent a new one right out and picked up the old
one on the same trip, so at least that part was good. 

I wonder if Ralph would like to offer any addtional comments
after using his for a week or so.
