I agree that this is entirely accidental stereo, and no "probably" about it.  
First, the figures appear mostly in pseudo stereo, with the smaller more 
distant figures appearing in front.  That could be ascribed to the creator's 
creativity, but for the fact that floorboards do NOT come out in depth, at 
least as far as I can tell.  Instead, they appear as two cross-hatched 
overlapping images of conventional perspective representation
