[photo-3d] 2X2 Standard Mounts

I'll have to agree with Mike K. that standard 2x2 mounts are acceptable
for viewing in most cases. It is taking me weeks to organize, sort, and
file my many slide pairs! I found Plano boxes that are great for 2x2
side by side filing. I mark each slide L or R with a cooresponding
number. If the slides spill, they can be matched up easily. I put a
*star on all pairs that I intend to remount for future use. I do not see
major window problems with these machine mounts. Using a Berezin
Pinsharp most of the images are just fine. There may be disturbances at
the window edge from time to time. Like Dr. T and Dr. Dave, I'm serious
about mounting, and take pride in my mounting abilities, but I'm not
cursing 2X2 machine mounts, nor do I have time to remount every pair. I
must agree however, that public display of these 2X2s to anyone other
than an accomplished stereo enthusiast, is a sacrilege to the hobby, and
a nuisance to the observer. For personal use only. :-)
