If your main objective is to protect the lenses, you may want to try
a
pair of slip-on UV filters which are easy and cheap on the used
market, but are often found as haze filers (or hazy filters) as they
need a good cleaning and sometimes won't clean. Or you may see if
Dalia is still selling new filters which I think are about $20 pair.
