The "term" used was mostly "Wobble stereo", which I quote to
faciliate future searching.

I have saved the museum.html page and the Alfed Hart images. 
Right-clicking gives only the pseudocopic image 
(056Pseudoscopic.jpg), the ortho version can be found at: 
http://cprr.org/Museum/images/photographs/056Correct.jpg

After stripping the text: images/photographs/  from the html-
page with an editor, and after stripping the other content of 
the page (but keeping the copyright notice :-)), I now have a 
2 kB "onMouse wobble stereo" html-template to test the effect 
with various images. The quick pseudo-ortho wobble is most 
interesting, especially that the wobble frequency is so easily 
monitored by varying mouse speed!

(There are also many non-wobble stereo views on the 
CPRR site, and pictures of a number of stereocameras)
