The "term" used was mostly "Wobble stereo", which I quote to
faciliate future searching.
I have saved the museum.html page and the Alfed Hart images.
Right-clicking gives only the pseudocopic image
(056Pseudoscopic.jpg), the ortho version can be found at:
http://cprr.org/Museum/images/photographs/056Correct.jpg
After stripping the text: images/photographs/ from the html-
page with an editor, and after stripping the other content of
the page (but keeping the copyright notice :-)), I now have a
2 kB "onMouse wobble stereo" html-template to test the effect
with various images. The quick pseudo-ortho wobble is most
interesting, especially that the wobble frequency is so easily
monitored by varying mouse speed!
Thanks for the reference, John.
(There are also many non-wobble stereo views on the
CPRR site, and pictures of a number of stereocameras)
