[photo-3d] House of Wax premiere party

Consider joining us for a premiere party for House of Wax on Friday, September 22. That's
the opening night for this brand new print in New York. We'll meet at the Film forum for the 7:30
show, then afterwards we'll dissect and discuss over beverages.

If this new print of House of Wax is half as good as Kiss Me Kate last month, it will be worth the
trip into the city. And why not see this classic with a crowd of stereo enthusiasts like yourself?

If you would like to join us, please send me mail directly--off list. I will make arrangements based
on the number of people who respond.

Cordially,

Tom Deering

House of Wax:

Mad sculptor Vincent Price - aided by mute henchman Charles Buchinsky (who'd later find fame
with a more manageable last name: Bronson) - re-populates his Victorian Chamber of Horrors
with wax-coated victims. And wouldn't Carolyn Jones (later tv's Morticia Addams) make a
lovely Joan of Arc?

Director de Toth turned House of Wax into the most popular of all 3-D movies, complete with
eye-popping effects. And watch out for that vat of boiling wax! Reissued in the 80s in an inferior
single-system 3-D process, this is the first new double-system 3-D print struck since its original
release.
