Hello:

If you are in Germany this fall, please visit the EXPLORA museum in
Frankfurt.  Starting in September, the museum will display five of my
anaglyph fine art prints on the entrance level.  Prints on display are
Reflection (phantogram), Blue Light, Atlas Industrial Robot, Tower Plane,
and Air Park II.  The prints will remain on display for several months, at
least, I am told.

But don't go there just for my prints.  The EXPLORA museum is arguably
Germany's largest (certainly most massive!) museum devoted to stereoscopic,
multi-view, and holographic art; as well as art involving optical
illusions, trick imagery, and other effects.  When I visited last
September, the museum was open to the public, though only partially
complete.  The display of anaglyphs, holograms, lenticular and barrier
prints, as well as stereo slides (in DeWijs viewers) was truly impressive.

The museum resides in the "Glauburg" in central Frankfurt.  It is a
beautifully renovated, modern interior design situated in an above surface
air raid bunker. The bunker was built just prior to WWII to resemble a
medieval castle (maybe the building of bunkers was prohibited by treaty at
the time?).  The walls and ceilings are 8ft. thick concrete!  I can think
of no better place as a conservatory of the stereoscopic arts.

The Glauburg is on the Glauburg Platz, on the corner of the Glauburgstrasse
and Lortzingstrasse.  Getting to the Glauburg is a bit tricky, as this area
is a maze of little one way streets.
