I didn't want to file away on my Realist (not because I wanted to
preserve it or anything, too chicken actually as I am all thumbs and a
half so I feared I'd screw something up even with Dr. T's wonderful book
to guide me).  I bought one of those PC adapter thingies for my Realist
so I use a PC-compatible flash (which was hard to find).

However, I used the Nimslo flash quite a bit with my Colorist.  The only
problem I've had with the Nimslo flash is that it eats batteries (the
damned power switch is a bit loose on my unit so it often slips into
"on" position when it should be on off).
